Students spent the morning creating 3D models in Google SketchUp that they will fabricate using a CNC milling machine. They are working with both their creative skills and their spatial reasoning/scaling skills in order to make something unique. These are the types of
machines and skills architects use when creating miniature models for developments and communities.

We polled the students on their flushing habits, did data analysis math, and then had a discussion about using reclaimed water from our roofs for needs such as washing our cars, watering in gardens, filling our toilets, and generating power using water wheels.
Students continue their city simulations. They currently have a region with three cities that share resources with each other (but only if they've build a 'trade depot'). Students will soon learn that
hoarding the money collected from taxpayers will bite them in the long run. When a surplus is gained, it's a great idea to put most of that money back into the community in the form of schools, hospitals, and even sports stadiums.
